Padel Court Installation Cost in Pakistan

Everything that goes into the price — materials, civil work, glass enclosures and what to watch out for.

Padel court installation in Pakistan typically costs between PKR 8M and PKR 18M per court for a good-quality outdoor build. A full 2-court commercial facility with changing rooms runs PKR 20M–40M. Here's exactly what drives that number.

The 5 Major Cost Components

1. Glass Enclosure Structure

The glass panels and steel frame are the most expensive part — typically PKR 4M–8M per court. Standard tempered glass with aluminium frame is at the lower end. Panoramic glass with powder-coated steel is at the higher end. Don't cut corners here — cheap glass means safety risk and poor player experience.

2. Artificial Grass Flooring

Padel courts use 12mm or 16mm pile artificial grass. Budget Chinese grass: PKR 400K–700K per court. European-grade (the correct spec): PKR 800K–1.4M per court. The grass directly affects ball bounce consistency — this is not where to economise.

3. LED Lighting

Minimum 300 lux for recreational play. Budget PKR 400K–700K per court for adequate LED floodlighting. Evening play is 60–70% of all bookings — under-lit courts lose half their revenue potential.

4. Civil and Foundation Work

A flat, properly drained concrete base is essential. On an existing flat slab: PKR 800K–1.5M. On uneven ground requiring excavation and drainage: PKR 2M–4M. Get a proper site assessment before budgeting.

5. Shade Canopy or Roof

Outdoor courts in Karachi and Lahore need shade for April–September. A good shade canopy costs PKR 1.5M–3.5M per court. Indoor climate-controlled structures add PKR 6M–15M for the building shell.

How Long Does Installation Take?

From site handover to first game: 10–14 weeks for a standard 2-court outdoor build. Week 1–2: design and material ordering. Week 3–6: civil work. Week 7–10: steel structure and glass. Week 11–13: grass, lighting, electrical and testing.

What's the ROI?

At PKR 3,500–6,000 per hour per court and 10 booked hours daily, a 2-court facility generates PKR 1.8M–3.6M per month. Breakeven typically in 18–30 months. Padel has one of the strongest ROI profiles of any leisure investment in Pakistan right now.
