Zipline Installation in Pakistan — Complete Guide

Costs, safety standards, platform specs and revenue potential for commercial zipline operators.

A commercial zipline is one of the highest-revenue-per-square-metre attractions you can install. A single well-positioned zipline can process 100–200 riders per day at PKR 1,500–3,000 per ride. Here's what you need to know before you build.

Types of Zipline

Single-Line Zipline (100–400m)

The most common commercial setup. One cable from a raised platform to a landing zone. Cost: PKR 3M–8M depending on length and height. Throughput: 40–80 riders per hour with proper operations.

Dual-Track / Side-by-Side

Two parallel cables so riders can race. Doubles throughput and significantly increases the experience quality. Cost: PKR 8M–18M. The upgrade pays back quickly at busy venues.

Multi-Line Zipline Circuit

3–6 lines of varying lengths and angles. Creates a full zipline tour experience. Requires significant elevation or constructed towers. Cost: PKR 20M–50M+.

Safety — Non-Negotiable

All commercial ziplines require:

Funventure uses Head Rush Technologies braking systems — the same equipment used in the world's top zipline attractions. Do not use uncertified braking systems. The liability and safety risk is not worth the saving.

Revenue Potential

At PKR 2,000 per ride and 120 riders per day (achievable on a busy weekend): PKR 240,000 per day from a single zipline. Monthly revenue in peak season: PKR 3M–5M. Breakeven on a PKR 6M zipline install: typically 12–18 months.
